The nation of Sweden is not made up exclusively of blond haired, blue eyed guys and gals named Sven and Elkie. Perfect example is rocker Adiam Dymott. Named after an African queen, she was born in 1982 to Eritrean parents who fled their war torn nation,  and raised their daughter in the city of Uppsala.

25 year old Vanessa “V V” Brown hails from Northampton, England and derives her inspiration from soul legends such as Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald. She turned down admission to Oxford and Cambridge while in high school to focus full time on her music career.
