The end result of good design is supposed to bring about exceptional aesthetic and it should be based on conveying an idea and solving problems. BMW is perusing just that with their concept car “GINA”. Designed by Chris Bangle, GINA approaches car design in a completely new way. Thinking of the vehicles exterior as an organic skin with limitless potential shapes and functions. BMW has aspirations of making this a reality in 10 years, and will give drivers the ability to shape the “look” of their car.

Oh man-I was watching this the other day. I enjoy how passionately he speaks about this car as well. The human qualities with the clip of the skin opening up for the lights…perfect!
