Best described as an intense visceral explosion, ‘Born Free’ is the product of a multimedia relationship between French director Romain Gavras and British-born Sri Lankan M.I.A. Embroiled in controversy because of its brutally graphic content and blocked by YouTube and other US media outlets, ‘Born Free’ has engulfed the blogosphere like wildfire.
