The Retrospective is a cultivated cultural gallery that showcases musicians, designers and artists of every medium. We curate our content by listening through the noise to find the best in emerging global culture.
As a collective of discerning creatives–strategists, writers, designers and brand experts–The Retrospective’s team maintains a broad swath of interests that’s reflected in our work. Our editorial scope encompasses everything from the latest technological advances and film openings to nascent global talent in fashion, music and film. Through personal interviews, critical reviews and editorial essays, we connect readers with what’s next.
RetroTV, an ongoing series of specialized video segments, allows us to spotlight uniquely talented personalities from all areas of arts and culture and invites our readers to glimpse the humanity behind the hustle.
Since we derive inspiration from so many different places, it seemed only natural to team up with other talented designers, artists and creative personalities for We Are Each Other. This multi-disciplinary collaborative series aims to create work that expresses, both online and off, original and innovative points of view.
Our international readership of industry professionals, early adopters, cool hunters and savvy consumers is like The Retrospective’s founder: young, curious about people for whom invention is a lifestyle and inspiration comes from everywhere.

Thanks, Anna x
Hello: is it possible to submit music to you and for review/coverage consideration and, if so, how? Regards. JOHN.
