When it comes to sunglasses, I am extremely picky. So much so, that I would rather be sunglass-less throughout the entire summer than wear a pair that I am pretending to like. For the first time, I can say that I have found some sick shades that I will be more than happy to rock all summer long.
I first laid eyes upon them a few weeks back in Bodega, a local street wear boutique in Boston (If you have never been there I strongly suggest that you check it out!). From the moment I saw them sitting there in the glass case, I knew I had to have them. I tried on the purple Wayfarer-esqe sunnies, and they were perfect. I looked on the inside to find out who was responsible for such fine craftsmanship, and I discovered that they are of new brand called Retrosuperfuture, or just SUPER for short. It turns out that Retrosuperfuture is brought to us by the creatives at Italy’s Pig Magazine, which includes Sean Beolchini and the Beckerman brothers. Not only are they handmade in Italy, the lenses are top of the line Zeiss lenses, to ensure that your eyes are completely protected. This is a great example of fashion and function working together to create great product just in time for the summer.

Retrosuperfuture sunglasses come in many different colors and designs to suit your current mood or look, and have even been spotted being worn by celebrities from Sienna Miller to Kanye West. Stop by their website and find out where they are being sold near you. I can’t wait to pick up another pair!
