It was a long road toward As Cities Burn’s sophomore release, “Come Now Sleep”. The band, who signed to Solid State and Imprint of Tooth and Nail in 2004, spent the following year on the road relentlessly touring with the likes of UnderOath, Emery, and Gym Class Heroes. At the end of their summer tour last year the band decided to head into the studio which then lead to major changes within the band’s structure. Visceral front man TJ Bonnette left the band for personal reasons and at that point it seemed as though As Cities Burn had to decided to call it quits.

Gogol Bordello “Gypsy Punks Underdog World Strike” Album Review
July 29th, 2007 No Comments
After half watching live earth a few weeks ago I came across a strange performance which looked like Madonna fronting some kind of bizarre homeless gypsy band. After looking at a few comments about the clip on Youtube I realized it was a collaboration between Madonna and New York Based band Gogol Bordello.
